De peste 50 de ani, revista Fortune publica anual un clasament al celor mai mari corporatii americane iar evolutia acestui clasament in timp este extrem de interesanta. General Motors era cea mai mare companie din SUA in 1995, avand o cifra de afaceri de 9.8 miliarde dolari si un profit de $806 milioane. In 2009, pe locul 1 se afla Exxon Mobil cu o cifra de afaceri de 442.8 miliarde dolari, de 45 de ori mai mare decat a avut GM in 1955, ceea ce inseamna o crestere de 4400%, noteaza Cristian Orgonas pe blogul sau.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says the US has a low risk of a double-dip recession. Geithner told ABC News in an interview that will air Sunday on “This Week” that the U.S. is at a lower risk “than at any time over the last 12 months or so.”
