Banca Romaneasca, filiala locala a grupului elen National Bank of Greece, a obtinut in trimestrul al treilea un profit de 5 milioane de euro, cu 37% mai putin decat in perioada similara din 2008, sub presiunea cheltuielilor cu provizioanele.

Băncile au contractat luna trecută credite record de la BNR, în comparaţie cu lunile anterioare, fenomen explicat de analişti prin cererea mai mare din partea clienţilor pentru plata impozitelor trimestriale către bugetul public.
 
Instituţiile de credit au obţinut luna trecută credite de urgenţă (lombard) pe termen de o zi în valoare de 19,4 miliarde lei, cu o dobândă de 12%, faţă de 13,8 miliarde în septembrie şi doar 286 milioane lei în august.

Economic recovery likely not quite that energetic (AP)
