În ciuda scăderii puternice a economiei, băncile româneşti continuă să obţină profituri bune, rezultate din dobânzile şi comisioanele piperate pe care le plătesc clienţii. Dacă în ţări dezvoltate, precum Anglia sau Spania, băncile lansează produse bancare de criză, cu costuri mai mici, instituţiile de credit din ţara noastră nu par a fi interesate de modificări esenţiale în structura costurilor produselor şi serviciilor pentru clienţi

Toţi am devenit mult mai atenţi la felul în care ne cheltuim banii. Tocmai de aceea, atunci când folosim cardul în străinătate, pentru diverse plăţi, nu trebuie să uităm de comisioanele pe care banca le reţine pentru diverse operaţiuni, cum ar fi retragerile de numerar de la ATM-uri sau schimbul valutar
